I have been so happy with the early years centre for the entire time my child has attended preschool here. Anne has been keen to impart her Montessori background in all aspects of learning which is invaluable. My daughter looks forward to the days she attends and as a professional within children’s services myself, I can’t speak highly enough of all the staff and their commitment to ensuring children are given a wide range of activities for their holistic development. There is a lovely family feel at the centre and I’d recommend it without hesitation

My son has been at the setting for over a year and in that time he has shown great development! He is happy and is always talking about his friends from nursery as well as the staff showing me he has a good relationship with them and is well looked after! I know when he moves to “big school” in September he will still talk about everyone at Small Steps! Thank you for everything you have done to look after our family over the years!

My son in year 1 attends Rise & Shine 3 days a week (morning and after school). My working hours are inflexible therefore having a reliable and well-staffed service like this available is really important. 

Oddly the school’s after-school club finishes 15 minutes earlier on a Friday which rules that service out for me. Thankfully Rise & Shine keeps sensible hours for parents living locally.

The days are long for my son but the staff are attentive and ensure the children are well looked after, entertained, fed and hydrated. Care is taken when walking the children to and from school. I will take up the opportunity to ask a little bit more often about how my son is getting on in the setting, time permitting! 

Admin, queries and invoicing are dealt with professionally and promptly.
